What makes med spa design different
Spa-calm experience
Lounge, retail, and treatment zones are tuned for a premium, unhurried guest journey.
Clinical durability
Beautiful finishes that still clean easily and turn over quickly between appointments.
Flattering light
Lighting is designed to flatter guests and still serve clinical tasks where needed.
Brand & social
Spaces are composed to photograph beautifully for the social-driven med spa market.
Licensing & permitting in California
Practices in California are licensed through the Medical Board of California. California requires a licensed contractor (CSLB) for the build, and tenant-improvement permits are issued by each city or county building department — so the path varies by jurisdiction. We design with the local plan-check and California's accessibility (CBC/ADA) requirements in mind from day one.
